Gluteal Stretch:
|
To stretch the right gluteal muscle lie on your back and bring your right knee towards your chest. With your right hand grasp your knee and with your left hand grasp your ankle. Using both your left and right hand slowly pull your right knee diagonally towards your left shoulder. As you pull diagonally towards your left shoulder try adding a little more pull at the ankle, or try straightening your knee slightly. Vary the positioning to stretch the area that feels most tight to you. Hold for ten seconds and repeat five times. |
